Today she went to the Dr. who did the surgery on her shoulder and pelvis. He did some x-rays to make sure that we didn't screw up the whole surgery by shuffling her to the hospital to go potty so much. He said everything looked great and he was pleased with how it was all coming together.
She's got this huge open wound on her leg that is giving her extreme amounts of pain. It is interfering with her physical therapy. It throbs and bothers her alot. The wound lady comes to clean it and re-dress it about 3x during the week. Mom mentioned to the dr. that it was really bothersome. He said there was an abscess. They decided to do a surgery on it. I guess he's going to cut it open a little more and do a complete cleaning and suture it back together. They have to put her under general anesthesia because of the pain. The surgery will probably take place around 9am. Not sure how long she'll be at IMC and then they'll transport her back when she comes out of recovery. She's just praying that it will help it feel better since it's so painful.
I'll do an update tomorrow as soon I hear how it all went - hopefully the news will be good and he'll be able to relieve the pain for her.
